There is no monthly fee and I do not keep a card on file.
Is it really free for a month?
Yes. You answer a few questions, the site is built while you watch in about 2 minutes, and you can change any word on it. It is yours to use free for a whole month. No payment and no card is needed to build it or use it, and you pay £299 once only if you decide to keep it.
What happens after the free month?
If you want to keep the site you pay £299 once, and I put it live on your own address within 24 hours of payment. If you do not pay, the site is switched off and nothing is charged. There is no card on file, so there is nothing to cancel and no way for a charge to happen by accident.
Do I need a card?
No. No card is needed up front, to build the site or to use it for the month. You only pay if you decide to keep it, and that is a single payment of £299.
Why is it only £299 and not monthly?
Because it is one person with no office, no account manager and no sales team, and the builder fits your business into a page layout that is already built and tested. You type in your own details, so there are no meetings and no weeks of a studio's time to pay for. Hosting one page costs pennies, so there is nothing I need to bill you monthly to cover.
What is not included in the £299?
No online booking, no card payments, no shop, no logo design, no photography, no ongoing SEO or advertising, and no monthly support plan. The domain name itself is not included either, it costs about £8 to £15 a year from a registrar, and I connect it free. It is one page that says what you do, where you work and how to reach you.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. Once you have paid the £299 the website is yours to keep, and any domain you buy is registered in your name, not mine. If I stopped trading you could hand the files to any web person and they could put it back online somewhere else.
