Accreditations and trust marks worth showing
The specialist body for installers is the British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI). The KBSA is the equivalent for independent retailers. TrustMark is government endorsed and relevant to this work.
What matters most is the regulated parts. A gas hob or boiler move has to be done by someone on the Gas Safe Register. New circuits and bathroom electrics are notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, so the customer should get a certificate from an electrician registered with a scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT. Say on the page who does this on your jobs. If you take the old kitchen away, a waste carrier licence is the other thing worth showing, along with public liability insurance and the amount.

- Showroom style photos that could have come from a brochure, with no sign they are your own jobs.
- No mention of who does the gas and electrics, which is the first thing a careful customer asks.
