A skim coat over what is already there. The quickest way to take tired, patched or textured walls back to a smooth finish.

Plasterboard to stud walls, ceilings and partitions, taped and jointed or skimmed, whichever the job calls for.

04Ceiling over-skims

Cracked, stained or artexed ceilings brought back flat without pulling the whole thing down.

Prepare

Loose material off, joints scrimmed, beads and angles set. Nothing goes over the top of a problem.

Board or backing coat

Plasterboard fixed, or a backing coat ruled off, depending on what is behind the wall.

Skim and finish

Finish coat on and trowelled up flat, then left to dry properly before anything else touches it.

Clear up

Waste out, floors swept, sheets lifted. You get the room back, not a building site.
